GRE TUNNEL IMPLEMENTATION METHOD, ACCESS POINT AND GATEWAY

Provided in an embodiment of the present invention are a GRE tunnel implementation method, access point (AP) and gateway (GW), the GRE tunnel implementation method comprising: an AP receives a first packet carrying the address of a GW; the AP is configured with a GRE tunnel to the GW, the source address of the GRE tunnel being the address of the AP, the destination address of the GRE tunnel being the address of the GW; the AP receives a second packet transmitted by a user equipment (UE); the AP conducts GRE tunnel encapsulation on the second packet to form a third packet; and the AP transmits the third packet to the GW via the GRE tunnel, the third packet carrying the address of the AP. The embodiment of the present invention efficiently establishes GRE tunnels between APs and a GW in the presence of a large number of APs.
