OXYGEN-ABSORBING RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen-absorbing resin composition having a less moisture content and an ability of absorbing oxygen in the atmosphere even under an atmosphere almost free of moisture.SOLUTION: There is provided an oxygen-absorbing resin composition which comprises: an oxygen absorbent (I) which contains a metal (metal of (I)) obtained by treating an alloy containing (A) at least one transition metal selected from the group consisting of iron, cobalt, nickel and copper and (B) aluminum with an alkali aqueous solution and eluting and removing at least a part of the component (B) and in which the metal obtained by eluting and removing a part of the component (B) has a specific surface area measured by BET method of at least 10 m2/g; and (II) a thermoplastic resin. The oxygen absorbing resin composition has a moisture content of 5000 ppm or less.
