PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of receiving and issuing a packet that requests a change in a power consumption state of a node in a network.SOLUTION: An embodiment includes circuitry to be included in a node to be used in a network. The circuitry is configured to (a) receive a packet via a power supply line of the node, and/or (b) partly issue the packet via the power supply line. The packet requests a change in a power consumption state of a portion of the node.
