PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition that exhibits adhesive power in a short time of drying and curing, has stable wet spreading property on an adherend, and is removable without leaving an adhesive residue on an adherend surface, and to provide a removable surface protective film of an optical component.SOLUTION: The adhesive composition comprises: 100 parts by weight of a polyurethane poly-resin (A) having a primary hydroxyl group at a terminal and having a hydroxyl value of 10 to 40 mgKOH/g; 5 to 20 parts by weight of a polyfunctional isocyanate compound (B); and 10 to 100 parts by weight of at least one compound (C) selected from a polyalkylene glycol compound, an epoxy compound and a phosphate compound.
