PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PTC device capable of making a connection as compact as possible.SOLUTION: A PTC device 100 includes: (1) a polymer PTC element 112 including a conductive filler and a polymer material and a PTC element 102 having a metal electrode 104 disposed on at least one surface of the polymer PTC element; (2) a lead 106 whose at least a part is located above a metal electrode of the PTC element; and (3) a protection coating 108 enclosing an exposed part of the PTC element. A cured solder paste exists as a connection part 110 which electrically connects the metal electrode with at least a part of the lead. |
