摘要 The invention relates to an electrode material.;Said material is characterized in that it contains, as positive electrode active material, at least one sulphate of iron in the +II oxidation state and of alkali metal corresponding to the formula (Na1−aLib)xFey(SO4), (I) in which the subscripts a, b, x, y and z are chosen so as to ensure the electroneutrality of the compound, with 0≦a≦1, 0≦b≦1, 1≦x≦3, 1≦y≦2, 1≦z≦3, and 2≦(2z−x)/y<3 so that at least one portion of the iron is in the +II oxidation state, with the exclusion of the compound Li2Fe2(SO4)3.;It is of use in particular as a positive electrode material in an alkali metal ion battery.
