The following steps are provided for producing a sheet cellulose material, for instance a handkerchief, comprising at least one adjuvant substance for the treatment of allergic rhinitis:
generating an aqueous nano- or micro-emulsion containing nano- or micro-droplet of said at least one substance encapsulated in a protective layer comprising a non-ionic surface-active agent;applying the nano- or micro-emulsion to the cellulose material;evaporating water, leading to the formation of nano- or micro-capsules anchored to the cellulose fibers.

1. A method for producing a cellulose sheet material having a cellulose fiber-based structure and comprising at least one adjuvant substance for the treatment of allergic rhinitis, said method comprising the steps of:
forming a mixture of the at least one adjuvant substance for the treatment of allergic rhinitis with at least one non-ionic surface-active agent; mixing the mixture of non-ionic surface-active agent and the at least one adjuvant substance for the treatment of allergic rhinitis in an aqueous solution of a cationic surface-active agent forming an aqueous nano- or micro-emulsion containing nano- or micro-droplet of the at least one substance encapsulated in a protective layer comprising a non-ionic surface-active agent; applying said nano- or micro-emulsion to the cellulose material; evaporating water, leading to the formation of nano- or micro-capsules anchored to the cellulose fibers.
