ADAPTER AND CASING APPARATUS FOR AN IMAGING DEVICE

The invention relates to an adapter and casing apparatus for use on imaging devices such as portable sports cameras. The apparatus includes a mirror which reflects a 360 degree image surrounding the apparatus toward an existing lens of the camera such that a panoramic view can be recorded by a camera which would otherwise not be capable of such. A casing encapsulates the existing member and has an attachment which allows a locating member to be attached and which retains the mirror at a desired distance from a lens of the camera. This secures the mirror relative to the camera in order to focus the image reflected from the mirror into camera without any modification to the camera being required.
