A pneumatic tire is configured so that on-ice performance, on-snow performance, and driving stability performance on a dry road surface are simultaneously achieved at high levels. A pneumatic tire (1) has a tread (2), the direction (R) of rotation of the tread (2) being specified. Crown main grooves (3) and shoulder main grooves (4) are provided in the tread (2) to thereby define middle lands (5B). Each of the middle lands (5B) is provided with middle lateral grooves (18) arranged separated from each other so as to define middle blocks (20). Each of the middle blocks (20) is provided with: a middle narrow groove (21) which extends from a middle lateral groove (18) on the trailing landing side, in the direction (R) of rotation, toward the leading landing side and which terminates without reaching a middle lateral groove (18) on the leading landing side; an inner sipe (S2) disposed on the inside of the middle narrow groove (21) in the axial direction of the tire; and an outer sipe (S3) disposed on the outside in the axial direction of the tire. The width (W6a) of the middle narrow grooves (21) and the direction of tilt of the inner and outer sipes (S2, S3) are limited to predetermined ranges. |
