<p>Disclosed are an arrayed optical fibre laser-induced hearing device and a signal conversion method, wherein the device comprises a speech processor (1), an array data controller (2), a laser modulation driver (3), a laser optical fibre array (4), and an optical fibre collimator (5). The laser modulation drive (3) is responsible for converting the multi-channel electrical signals outputted by the speech processor (1) into corresponding optical signals. The speech processor (1) is connected to the array data controller (2), and the array data controller (2) respectively controls each channel of the electrical signals to be connected to the corresponding laser modulation driver (3), each channel of the laser modulation driver (3) to be connected to the laser optical fibre array (4), the laser optical fibre array (4) to be connected to each channel of the corresponding optical fibre collimator (5), and finally each channel of the optical signal output irradiates the corresponding position of the auditory nerve of an organism. The optical signal output at each port of the laser optical fibre array (4) respectively corresponds to the audio frequency bands which are divided into a logarithmic scale, i.e. each channel of the optical fibre signal output corresponds to a corresponding audio frequency band signal.</p> |
