<p>Photovoltaic systems and methods, as well as related components, are disclosed. Such systems and methods can provide good performance under conditions of low light. In general, the disclosure provides photovoltaic systems that can provide a relatively high electrical power output under relatively low light conditions (low Lux), such as on an overcast or foggy day, indoor lighting, and/or artificial lighting (e.g., outdoor nighttime lighting). Generally, such systems can include one or more photovoltaic cells and one or more voltage boosting devices electrically coupled to the photovoltaic cell(s).</p> |
