<p>An outer rotor type drive motor for a drum washing machine of the present invention comprises a stator core; a bobbin which is made of an insulation material and surrounds the outer surface of the stator core; a stator including a coil which is wound around the outer surface of the bobbin; an outer rotor disposed apart from the outer surface of the stator with a predetermined air gap therebetween and connected to a rotary shaft having one end thereof fixed to the rear surface of a drum; a cover member which is fixed to the rear surface of a tub and has the stator core mounted therein; and a buffering unit which is installed between the cover member and the stator core for preventing the vibration generated by a driving motor to be transmitted to a washing machine side, thereby simplifying the manufacturing process and preventing the vibration of the motor form being transmitted to the washing machine.</p> |
