<p>With this input assistance device, it is possible to simply and accurately input intended boilerplate information into an input field on the basis of information which a user inputs by handwriting. This input assistance device comprises: a search information storage means for associating entry word information and template information and storing same; a handwritten information acceptance means for accepting handwritten information which is information which the user has inputted by handwriting; a handwritten text character recognition means for treating the entry word information which is stored in the search information storage means as a handwritten text character recognition process recognition candidate, and extracting one of the entry words with respect to the handwritten information as the result of the handwritten text character recognition process; and a transcription means for transcribing the template information corresponding to the one entry word information which is extracted by the handwritten text character recognition means to an input region which the user desires on the basis of a manipulation by the user.</p> |
