PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a magnetic sensor device capable of adjusting a minute bias magnetic field in a magnetism sensitive direction of an MR (magnetoresistive effect) element with high accuracy by a simple method.SOLUTION: A magnetic sensor device comprises: a magnet unit facing one surface of an object to be detected which has a magnetic component, and forming a cross magnetic field crossing the object to be detected; and a magnetoresistive effect element, provided between one of magnetic poles of the magnet unit and the object to be detected, for outputting, as a change in resistance value, a change in the component in transport direction of the cross magnetic field caused by a magnetic component of the object to be detected being transported in the cross magnetic field. The magnet unit is arranged movably in the transport direction relative to the magnetoresistive effect element so that the component in transport direction of the cross magnetic field applied to the magnetoresistive effect element becomes a prescribed size. |
