PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic wave device capable of increasing strength of a cover nearby a terminal.SOLUTION: A SAW device 1 includes: a substrate 3; a SAW element 11 provided on a first principal surface 3a of the substrate 3; a cover 5 put over the first principal surface 3a to form a vibration space 10 on the SAW element 11; and a terminal 7 stood on the first principal surface 3a and penetrating the cover 5 between an inner wall surface 5a and an outer wall surface 5b. In plan view of the first principal surface 3a, a beveled surface 5c as a part of an inner wall surface 5a and an inner proximate surface 7aa positioned on a side of the beveled surface 5c on a side face of the terminal 7 have geometric relationship which is parallelism rather than geometric relationship between a predetermined wall surface and the circumference of a largest virtual circle C1 within across-sectional shape of the terminal 7. |
