PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end cap for a continuous handrail which comprises a small number of components, is easy to construct, and forms no gap with a wall surface, and a connection material for an outside corner part of the continuous handrail. ! SOLUTION: An end cap 5 comprises a first end face 7, a second end face 8, a ridge 10 extending linearly along the border between the end faces 7, 8, a handrail member connection part 100 formed on the first end face 7, and a wall face connection part 200 formed on the second end face 8. The handrail member connection part 100 has a continuous wall 101 projecting from the first end face 7, and the continuous wall 101 extends along the external shape of an end part of the handrail member so as to cover the end part of the handrail member.
