contacting a first cyclic component and optionally a second cyclic component with a catalyst and an initiator; and polymerizing the first cyclic component and optional second cyclic component to form a homopolymer or a copolymer resin; wherein the contacting and polymerizing occur under neat conditions, without an inert gas blanket, in a single vessel.
