PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a possibility of coming-off of a tip member from a barrel body while a writing instrument is carried or used because, in a prior art, a grip member is held and disposed with its entire length compressed by the barrel body and the tip member, which adds a force to compress the grip member, increases a tightening force when screwing the tip member, and results in difficulty in screwing the tip member and easy coming-off of the tip member due to an insufficient tightening of the tip member.SOLUTION: A barrel with an elastic member disposed thereon is formed by connecting one barrel part and the other barrel part. The elastic member is disposed between a rear end part of the one barrel and a stepped part formed in the other barrel part. A deformation part is formed in the elastic member, and a space, into which the deformation part can enter, is provided between the elastic member and the other barrel part. |
