Abstract The present invention relates to a tile levelling device and method of forming a tile levelling device. The tile levelling device is of a type that uses a wedge to achieve levelling of the tiles. The tile levelling device includes a first component 20 and a second component 200. The first and second components 20, 200 are arranged to be connected together so as to form a vertical member V and a horizontal member H. The vertical member V in use extends upwardly of the horizontal member H establishing a first tile seat on one side of the vertical member V and a second tile seat on the other side of the vertical member V. The vertical member V is arranged to be removable from the horizontal member H either in whole or in part after the tile levelling device 10 has been used to level tiles located on the first and second tile seats.
