PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for enhancing sweetness of trilobatin.SOLUTION: A consumable includes: a) a sweetener or a combination of sweeteners with a concentration of higher than the sweetness detection threshold at the concentration corresponding to at least an equivalent degree of sweetness with 2% sucrose; and b) a compound represented by Formula (1) with a concentration in the vicinity of the sweetness detection threshold.
