<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active noise cancellation system.SOLUTION: The system comprises: an adaptive filter 22 receiving a reference signal x[n] representing a disturbance noise signal d[n] and comprising an output providing a compensation signal (a filtered signal) y[n]; a signal source 53 providing a measurement signal m[n]; at least one loudspeaker LS1 radiating the compensation signal and the measurement signal to a listening position; at least one microphone M1 receiving a superposition of the radiated compensation signal y'[n], the measurement signal, and the disturbance noise signal at the listening position, and providing a microphone signal dm[n]; all secondary paths 21 comprising a secondary path system which represents a signal transmission path from the output of the adaptive filter 22 to an output of the microphone M1; and an estimation unit 50 for estimating a transfer characteristic of the secondary path system in response to the measurement signal and the microphone signal.</p> |
