<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection device of a tool blade edge which detects the blade edge of a tool mounted on a cutter holder of a machine tool, has a simple and compact structure in which a sensor is moved forward and backward between a detection position and a storage position, minimizes a movement space of an arm at the time of advancing/retreating, and enables high-speed advancing/retreating.SOLUTION: A detection sensor for detecting a blade edge of a tool is mounted on the tip of a curved arm, and a drive device for supporting the arm movably in the curvature direction and reciprocally driving the arm in the longitudinal direction is provided. A guide member of a linear motion guide bent in a circular arc shape is used as the arm, and a reciprocally-driving device such as a cylinder is connected to the arm.</p> |
