PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method for protein-containing wastewater, capable of purifying wastewater containing hardly removable water-soluble protein such as fishery processing wastewater and food processing wastewater, in a short time with a simple device.SOLUTION: The treatment method for protein-containing wastewater includes: a pH adjustment process P1 of adjusting the pH of water-soluble protein-containing wastewater 1 to a predetermined pH for treatment; a microbubble (MB) generation step P2 of generating MB in wastewater 3 after the pH adjustment process P1; and a standing process P3 of standing the wastewater by stopping the generation of MB.
