<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an individual weight loss apparatus and a weight loss method capable of losing weight for an individual by stimulating the pneumogastric nerve while protecting the individual from being affected by adverse side effects of the electric stimulation.SOLUTION: An individual weight loss apparatus (2) of the present invention relates to an apparatus for losing weight of an individual and includes: an electric signal generators (42, 43); a pair of electrodes (10, 12) connectable to the electric signal generator (42, 43); at least one pair of first electrodes (6) to be fixed to a first pneumogastric nerve (18) of the individual with a space of prescribed distance each other in order for the electric signal to put on a portion (19) of the first pneumogastric nerve (18) between the pair of electrodes (10, 12); and a short circuit switch (52) designed to be turned on for short-circuiting the pair of electrodes (10, 12).</p> |
