[Problem] To prevent wrong transmission of an electronic mail and prevent information leakage from occurring in an electronic mail delivery device. [Solution] When an electronic mail is transmitted, a blank character selection unit presents a mail address designated as a transmission destination or a transmission source of the electronic mail with a portion thereof being made a blank portion. When a correct character is inputted to the blank portion of the mail address, a mail selection delivery unit executes the transmission of the electronic mail. When the correct character is not inputted to the blank portion of the mail address, the transmission of the electronic mail is stopped. Consequently, the effectiveness of confirmation work of the mail address is improved, and this confirmation work can be prevented from becoming a ceremonial affair. |
