PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a data server and reduce communication time.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 20 performs data communication with a mobile terminal 10. The image forming apparatus 20 includes a transmitting/receiving unit 21 for transmitting/receiving data directly to/from the mobile terminal 10, and a storage unit 22 which stores the data to be transmitted/received by the transmitting/receiving unit 21. The mobile terminal 10 includes an application 13 installed for achieving a function as a data server by forming a storage area 18 for storing the data to be transmitted/received directly to/from the image forming apparatus 20.
