PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector that can prevent instantaneous interruption caused by a foreign matter or resonance while ensuring sufficient contact pressure on a card.SOLUTION: The card connector includes a plurality of contacts 5, 5, ... of a conductive metal material each having a resilient contact portion 4 projecting from an inner bottom surface of a card insertion part 2 to come into contact with a corresponding pad 6, 6, ... arranged on one surface of a card A. The resilient contact portion 4 includes a plurality of differently shaped spring bodies 34 and 35 having inclined pieces 32 and 33, respectively, which are vertically spaced in a superposed manner, the respective tip end portions of the inclined pieces 32 and 33 being forkedly formed with respect to one another, and includes pad contact points 36 and 37 arrayed mutually in a card width direction. When the card A is inserted in the card insertion part 2, the card A presses the spring bodies 34, 35 to bring the vertically superposed inclined pieces 32 and 33 into contact with each other and bring all the pad contact points 36 and 37 of the resilient contact portion 4 into contact with the one corresponding pad 6. |
