PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration of a portable information code reader capable of being used while attaching the reader to a body or a body accessory without grasping the reader by the hand, facilitating detachment of a reader main body from the body or the body accessory, and facilitating promptly attaching the reader at a more accurate attachment position when the reader is to be attached again.SOLUTION: A portable information code reader 1 comprises: an imaging unit (light-receiving sensor 23) imaging an information code; a processing unit processing an image of the information code imaged by the imaging unit; a case 12 holding the imaging unit and the processing unit; and an attachment member 60 provided separately from the case 12, and attached to a user. Furthermore, the portable information code reader 1 includes a guide unit 50 detachably coupling the case 12 to an attachment portion 66 of the attachment member 60 and guiding the attachment portion 66 so that an attitude of the case 12 relative to the attachment portion 66 is a predetermined attitude when coupling the case 12 to the attachment portion 66. |
