PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform vacant seat inquiry processing from a section that has a high possibility of seats to be reserved.SOLUTION: A seat reservation system includes: a communication unit for receiving seat reservation information on reserved seat reservation of a train from an operation terminal; a processing unit for performing a vacant seat inquiry on the basis of information on specified date and time, a specified train, and a specified section included in the seat reservation information; and a storage unit for storing vacant seat information on the train. If there is no vacant seat relevant to the seat reservation information, the processing unit derives main stations for dividing the specified section on the basis of the number of vacant seats and the number of people getting off included in each station performance information in the past per train stop station corresponding to the specified train, and performs a vacant inquiry of the divided specified section. |
