<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device in which an operator can perform three-dimensional input operations intuitively and readily.SOLUTION: An input device 1 comprises: an operation unit 3 operable for a main body 2; X-axis detection means for detecting operations for the main body 2 in an X-axis direction of the operation unit 3; Y-axis direction means for detecting operations for the main body 2 in a Y-axis direction orthogonal to the X-axis direction of the operation unit 3; and Z-axis detection means for detecting operations for the main body 2 in a Z-axis direction orthogonal to the X-axis direction and the Y-axis direction of the operation unit 3. The main body 2 includes, in a front portion of the main body 2, a wall 2a supported by an operator who pinches the main body 2 with his/her forefinger and middle finger when holding the main body 2.</p> |
