<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of ensuring strength even if a cross-sectional wall of the refrigerator is made thinner, and ensuring small space with a large capacity and high energy saving.SOLUTION: A refrigerator is configured so that a vacuum insulation material 103 includes longitudinal grooves 104 formed in a long-length direction and lateral grooves 105 formed in a short-length direction in a surface of the vacuum insulation material 103, the longitudinal grooves 104 and the lateral grooves 105 intersect one another at least in the surface of the vacuum insulation material 103, and the grooves 104 and 105 are formed up to upper, lower, left, and right end surface portions of the vacuum insulation material 103. Therefore, the vacuum insulation material 103 is also arranged in refrigerator-inner-sides of folded portions of a radiation pipe 111 without protruding the radiation pipe 111, thereby making it possible to improve heat insulation performance. Furthermore, each of the grooves 104 and 105 is provided up to the upper and lower end surface portions of the vacuum insulation material 103, thereby making it possible to improve the strength of the upper and lower end surface portions of the vacuum insulation material 103, to suppress warping, deformation, etc. of the vacuum insulation material 103 as much as possible, to facilitate bonding of the vacuum insulation material 103 to the refrigerator, and to decrease the number of man-hours.</p> |
