PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage regulating device capable of controlling a voltage so that more electric power can be accommodated from a dispersed power source.SOLUTION: A voltage regulating device 1 includes: a voltage regulation relay 5 with a voltage drop compensation section 52 for compensating for a voltage drop by a track 91 of a power system by controlling an on-load tap switcher 4 for switching taps of a transformer 2 connected to the power system; and a power directional relay 7 that determines a tidal current direction of the power system and makes the voltage drop compensation section 52 unavailable if the tidal current direction is reverse. |
