<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exothermic agent that generates heat when water is added, the exothermic agent having a larger calorific value, with exothermic persistence, and also to provide a hydrolytic exothermic agent superior in safety, without causing hydrogen gas when heating, and without rapid temperature rise, and an exothermic method thereof.SOLUTION: The hydrolytic exothermic agent includes: an alkaline earth metal oxide of an amount effective for exhibiting a synergetic effect; and a complex oxide composed of the alkaline earth metal oxide and an element other than an alkaline earth metal. An exothermic method of the hydrolytic exothermic agent is also provided. Commercial alumina cement can be used as the complex oxide.</p> |
