Provided are a method, device and system for network selection, relating to the communication field. The method comprises: after a user equipment (UE) accesses from a cellular access network, an access node of the cellular access network acquiring wireless local area network (WLAN) selection information, wherein the WLAN selection information contains priority information, and the priority information is used for indicating that for the UE, using a WLAN to gain access is preferable to using the cellular access network to gain access; the access node of the cellular access network selecting a WLAN network for the UE according to the priority information, wherein the access priority of the selected WLAN network is higher than that of the cellular access network; and the access node of the cellular access network indicating the UE to access the selected WLAN network. The device comprises: an acquisition module, a selection module and a sending module. The system comprises: a UE and an access node of a cellular access network. The present invention improves the efficiency whereby a UE accesses a network and realizes that the behaviour of the UE is controllable. |
