This drive apparatus is provided with an oscillator, and a drive circuit that oscillates the oscillator by inputting drive signals to the oscillator. The drive circuit has: an output amplifier that outputs the drive signals to the oscillator on the basis of monitor signals; a power supply unit that supplies a power supply voltage; and a power supply voltage control unit, which controls the power supply voltage and supplies the power supply voltage to the output amplifier. The drive apparatus is capable of having oscillation amplitude of the oscillator increased, and is also capable of increasing detection sensitivity of a physical quantity detection apparatus wherein the drive apparatus is used.
