PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformalize ratios of air to fuel in respective combustion regions, and to decrease concentration of exhaust gas in low speed and high load, by correcting respective angles so that a nozzle hole forward from the tile direction of a valve may face upward and a nozzle hole rearward may face downward, and by equalizing the angles of all nozzle holes in relation to a cylinder. SOLUTION: In a tilt-type fuel injection valve in which a valve shaft VC direction is tilted in relation to the cylinder axial direction at the tilt angleα, when the angles of all nozzle holes in relation to a cylinder axis are to be equalized to that of a vertical injection valve, the angle of the nozzle hole forward from the tilt direction of the valve in relation to the valve shaft is taken asβ3, andβ=β1-α',β3=β1+α" (0<'', 0<α"<α). Therefore, the angles of all nozzle holes in relation to a cylinder is geometrically equalized to each other (all angles areβ1), however, the upper displacement angleΔβin the spray direction is made different according to the angle in relation to the valve shaft. The angle of the nozzle hole forward from the tilt direction of the valve in relation to the valve shaft is corrected toβ2+Δβ2, and the angle of the rear nozzle hole in relation to the valve shaft is corrected toβ3-Δβ3'.
