PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enjoy a game from the beginner to the skilled person by providing equal handicap by setting the handicap and calculating a rank corresponding to the score of a frame at one part of a bowler when playing bowling between two persons. SOLUTION: Concerning the hidden frame of handicap setting, five frames are set out of one game = ten frames, for example, so as not to be recognizable for bowlers. When the reference score of one game is defined as 200 points, the handicap is calculated by the expression of 200 points - scores of five frames×2. In this case, when the handicap is made minus by this calculation, the handicap becomes zero. In the case of the figure, for example, since the score of five frames is 80-15=65, 200-65×2=70 points become the handicap. Then, since the handicap is automatically calculated by an automatic handicap scorer, labor for considering the handicap every time is saved and the score is affected by good luck or bad luck so that equal handicap can be provided.
