Page 4 The disclosed Drownalert is a safety device consistent with two parts, the Subject component and the Supervisor component. The Subject component(s) will be worn by or attached to the swimming person(s) or high risk children or patients and the Supervisor component will be worn by or placed in vicinity of the person who intends to supervise or care for the subject(s) in order to prevent drowning. Each component could be worn on wrist or neck or head. If the subject's face is submerged more than ten to twenty seconds in water, the Subject component will immediately generate a signal into the air. If the subject feels in danger or needs any help he/she can press the Help button on Subject component and the Supervisor component will alarm. The supervisor could be as far as five hundred meters away when he/she receives the signal on Supervisor component, which instantly produces a loud siren and flashlight. After the supervisor takes the proper action for rescue, as soon as the subject's head is out of the water the siren will stop. Drownalert can be used at home or public places or industrial areas to prevent people from drowning. By nature Drownalert will only be alarming occasionally and therefore the batteries will last for long time, more than six months, and they are also rechargable.
