PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing device which hardly causes seizure, and is long in life.SOLUTION: An electric compressor comprises: a substantially-cylindrical housing 1; a rotating shaft 2 which is arranged in the housing 1 coaxially therewith; a pair of angular ball bearings 10, 10 which rotatably support the rotating shaft 2 to the housing 1; a rotor 5 arranged at an outer peripheral face of the rotating shaft 2; and a stator 6 which is arranged at an inner peripheral face of the housing 1 so as to oppose the rotor 5. An impeller 3 is attached to one end of the rotating shaft 2. A pair of the angular ball bearings 10, 10 are back-face combined, and arranged with an interval in the axial direction. The rotor 5 is arranged between the paired angular ball bearings 10, 10. Furthermore, a preload spring 21 abuts on a side face at the impeller side of an outer ring 12 of the angular ball bearing 10 at the anti-impeller side, and a preload in the axial direction toward the impeller side from the anti-impeller side is imparted to the preload spring 21. |
