<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a per group rate control multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) wireless communication system which reduces transmission feedback on a reverse link channel and improves robustness of the system against inaccurate CQI reports.SOLUTION: In a MIMO system 400 using a per group rate control (PGRC) method, data streams 1 and 2 are respectively partitioned and encoded by encoders 302 and 308, interleaved by interleavers 304 and 310, and mapped by mappers 306 and 312. Then, a grouping circuit 314 distributes the streams between a plurality of antennas 316-322 so that one codeword is linked to more than one layer. Mixture is performed among antennas in the MIMO system on the basis of a symmetric permutation of antennas groups.</p> |
