A first communication terminal that is not connected to a communication network searches for a second communication terminal that is present around the first communication terminal. In the communication network, one communication terminal among a plurality of communication terminals functions as a parent having the function of an access point, and the remaining communication terminals each function as a child with respect to the parent. On the basis of information included in communication messages received from one or more second communication terminals found by the search, the first communication terminal determines one second communication terminal that is used as a connection partner from among the one or more second communication terminals, and constitutes the communication network with the determined connection partner. |
