PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyamide resin composition which gives a film excellent in slipperiness and printability and is nonproblematic in the formation of die lines and the deposition of resin around the die in the production of a film by mixing a polyamide resin which a specified fibrous xonotlite in a specified mixing ratio. SOLUTION: This resin composition is prepared by mixing a polyamide resin (e.g. nylon 6) with 0.02-0.7wt.%, desirably 0.1-0.3wt.% fibrous xonotlite treated with 0.5-10wt.%, based on the fibrous xonotlite, desirably 1-7wt.% surface treatment agent (e.g.γ-aminopropyltriethoxysilane). The fibrous xonotlite is desirably the one having the form of an acicular crystal, a true specific gravity of 2.48, a bulk specific gravity of 0.2 or below, a fiber length of 1-5μm, a fiber diameter of 0.1-0.5μm, and a specific surface area (BET method) of 20-40m<2> /g.
