AQUEOUS COMPOSITION FOR MAKE-UP OR DERMATOLOGY CONTAINING FILM-FORMING OLIGOMER AND HARD NON-FILM-FORMING NANOMETRIC PARTICLE AND ITS USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cosmetic or a dermatological composition excellent in dispersibility, lacquering power and drying rate, useful as an aerosol lacquer or a pump applicator, containing a film-forming oligomer and a rigid non-film- forming particle. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by adding a component A and a component B to an aqueous medium for a cosmetic (e.g. water or a 1-4C alcohol). This component A is a film-forming oligomer which is soluble or dispersible in an aqueous medium and has <=50,000 molecular weight measured by solid size exclusion chromatography and -50 to 50 deg.C glass transition temperature T'g (e.g. a copolymer of a vinyl ester and crotonic acid and/or maleic acid). The component B is a rigid non-film-forming particle having <=1μm average particle diameter and >=50 deg.C glass transition temperature to be dispersed into the medium (e.g. a copolymer obtained by cross-linking a 1-8C alkyl methacrylate with acrylic acid and/or methacrylic acid). The ratio of the particle in the mixture of composed of the component A and the component B is 5-95wt.% based on the weight of the mixture.
