A wiper coupler adaptor (54) for releasably attaching a wiper assembly (26) to a wiper arm (24) includes a pair of sidewalls, each having recessed sections (78) adapted to operatively engage rails (42) of an attachment member (34) of a wiper arm (24). An elevated platform (108) is disposed between the sidewalls (74) and a deck (96) to define an aperture (110) adapted to receive a portion of a bent tab (38) of the attachment member (34), and a snap bridge (112) disposed within the aperture (110) that is adapted to receive a portion of the bent tab (38) of the attachment member (34) to prevent undesired release of the wiper coupler adaptor (54) from the attachment member (34). A rib (120) is disposed within the aperture (110) and extends from at least one of the sidewalls (74) to prevent the snap bridge (112) from breakage by the bent tab (38) of the attachment member (34) if mis-assembled.
