This invention addresses the problem of providing the following: a wrinkle-free optical film in which an alignment film adheres well to a support; a polarizer using said optical film; and an image display device. This optical film has a transparent support, an alignment film, and an optically anisotropic layer, in that order, wherein: the transparent support contains an acrylic resin; and a mixed layer that is 50 to 200 nm thick and comprises a mixture of the material constituting the transparent support and the material constituting the alignment film is present between the transparent support and the alignment film. |
