<p>Provided in an embodiment of the present invention are a multimedia conferencing establishment method, device and system, the method comprising: a media receiving entity (that is, a media receiving device) receives a media announcement message transmitted by a media providing entity (that is, a media providing device), the media announcement message carrying the identifier information of a multimedia data stream capable of being transmitted by the media providing device, and the conference role attribute of participants corresponding to each multimedia data stream; the media receiving device transmits a media configuration message to the media providing device; and the media receiving device establishes a media transmission channel with the media providing device, and receives, via the media transmission channel, the multimedia data stream corresponding to the selected multimedia data stream identifier and transmitted by the media providing device. The present invention selects a multimedia data stream according to a conference role attribute corresponding to the multimedia data stream, and selectively controls the negotiation and presentation of the multimedia data stream in multimedia conferencing.</p> |
