<p>A radiant heater device is provided with a heater main body (10) that comprises a heat generation unit (11) that generates heat by conducting electricity and that radiates radiant heat using heat that is supplied from the heat generation unit. The heater main body is mounted to the rear side of an opening (220, 6220, 7220) that is formed on a vehicle interior member (22, 622, 722). The radiant heater device is provided to the rear side of the heater main body and is additionally provided with a thermal insulation section (144) that minimizes radiation of the heat of the heater main body from the rear side thereof. The thermal insulation section comprises: an air chamber that is an empty section that is defined by and formed on the rear surface of the heater main body and in which air is present; or a thermal insulation member. As a result of the abovementioned configuration, it is possible to provide a radiant heater device that exhibits excellent heating efficiency, mountability, and ease of installation, and that has a satisfactory appearance when viewed from within a vehicle.</p> |
