<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aseismatic design method and aseismatic design support device of a building belonging to a category of normalized buildings for which the damage degree of the building is taken into consideration. <P>SOLUTION: For an object building temporarily determined by setting a temporary setting value of member arrangement related to an aseismatic property, earthquake waves (earthquake motion index value) based on a customer request are virtually inputted, relation between the earthquake motion index value in the object building and an interlayer deformation angle is derived as response information Sa, and a damage probability Pf for the time when an object earthquake acts on the object building is derived from the response information Sa and resistance force information Ra based on the customer request of the object building. Then, the damage probability Pf and an allowable damage are compared, and in the case that the damage probability exceeds the allowable damage, customer request information or the temporary setting value of the member arrangement are changed and the above processing is repeatedly performed until the damage probability becomes equal to or lower than the allowable damage.
