<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque detector which can be decreased in size in a direction orthogonal to the axis direction of a first shaft. <P>SOLUTION: An input shaft 9 and an output shaft 10 are connected to each other via a torsion bar 11. A torque sensor 20 includes a first magnet 41 which is connected to the input shaft 9 so that it can rotate together with the input shaft 9, a second magnet 42 which is connected to the output shaft 10 so that it can rotate together with the output shaft 10, first and second magnet sensors 43A, 43B for detecting an input shaft rotation angle each of which detects magnetic flux from the first magnet, and third and fourth magnet sensors 44A, 44B for detecting an output shaft rotation angle each of which detects magnetic flux according to the sum of magnetic flux from the first magnet and magnetic flux from the second magnet. A magnetism block member 48 is provided to block magnetic flux traveling from the second magnet 42 to the first and second magnet sensors 43A, 43B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
