<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface conduction type electron emission element which improves the reproducibility of configuration of a conductive thin film and has a uniform element characteristics. SOLUTION: A pair of element electrodes 2, 3 are formed, a conductive thin film 4 connecting between the element electrodes is also formed on an insulating substrate 1, and an electron emission part 5 is formed on the conductive thin film 4 in the manufacturing method. When the conductive thin film 4 is formed, a solution containing the material which forms the conductive thin film is applied between a pair of the element electrodes in the condition of liquid drop while tilting the substrate 1 on which the element electrodes 2, 3 are formed to the arrangement direction of the element electrodes 2, 3.</p> |
